  • The hotel facilities are really good, but there is something wrong with the hotel address. It's hard to find. It's also a good place to eat around. It's an excellent hotel for visiting Olympic venues or watching competitions and performances.Superior Two-bedroom Suite

  • The whole is pretty good! Suitable for family travel, providing fruit, breakfast does not match the number of guests, and it is unreasonable to provide only one person in each bedroom! The transportation is also convenient. It's only 5 minutes to walk to the bird's nest. It's very convenient!Superior Two-bedroom Suite

  • Unknowingly, it has been 10 years since I came to Beijing to stay in the VIP Building. Every time I booked a senior two bedroom suite. Complete facilities and quiet environment. The surrounding greening is good and the air is good. Breakfast quality is also good. It's close to the water cube and the bird's nest. In short, the internal facilities of the hotel are very satisfactory and the service is also very good, which is worthy of recommendation.Superior Two-bedroom Suite

Travelogue

  • Beside the Bird's Nest, I found a sense of relaxation at home during business trips

This time, I came to the Beijing Olympic Sports Area for a one week stay to connect with the project. I chose North Star Huiyuan Apartment Hotel (VIP building), Beijing, originally because of its proximity to the project site. After staying for 7 days, I realized that the accommodation experience here completely broke away from the coldness of ordinary business hotels, incorporating the feeling of "comfortable as at home" into every daily detail.
When checking in, the front desk learned that I was a long-term business guest and specially arranged a south facing room on a higher floor for me. They also reminded me with a smile that standing by the window at 6 pm, I could see the lights of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube shining together. The moment I pushed open the door, I felt at ease: the 90 square meter space had no flashy internet celebrity decorations, the wooden furniture was warm and heavy, without the pungent decoration smell of new hotels. Pushing the window, I could see the continuous green scenery of the Olympic Park, and the silver outline of the Bird's Nest in the distance was exposed in the tree shadows. The wind blew in through the window, carrying the fragrance of the park's vegetation.
What surprised me the most was the layout with a strong sense of home: the independent open kitchen was equipped with an induction cooker, microwave, and double door refrigerator, and even the basic cookware, dishwashing cotton, and seasonings were prepared. I don't need to eat take away food. I can heat a glass of milk and bake two pieces of toast when I get up in the morning. I come back late at night after working overtime and cook a bowl of hot Noodles in soup. Even my stomach is warm. The bedding in the bedroom is a slightly dry cotton and linen texture, and the hotel has thoughtfully prepared two types of pillows, soft and hard. As someone who knows beds all year round, I slept the whole night on my first night without the insomnia feeling of being in a strange hotel.
The details in the room are all thoughtfully designed by long-term residents: the width of the desk is enough to spread out two project materials, and the matching desk lamp has a flicker free warm light. I changed the plan until late at night for several nights without my eyes getting sore. The bathroom has undergone a complete separation of dry and wet areas, with hot water coming out after just a few seconds. The water pressure is sufficient, and after running around the industrial park all day, taking a hot shower has relieved the soreness and bloating all over my body. The sound insulation of the whole house is particularly solid. After closing the windows, the footsteps in the hallway and the distant traffic on the North Fourth Ring Road are all isolated outside. During the day, when catching up on sleep, you can't even hear the movements in the neighboring room.
During this week of stay, everything was unspoken: on the third day when the housekeeping came to clean, they proactively asked me if I could help wash the accumulated change of clothes. After drying and folding them, they neatly placed them at my bedside; I casually mentioned that I drink the drinking water in my room quickly, and every day when I come back, I will put two extra bottles of mineral water at room temperature on the desk in advance; One night, I accidentally left my access card in my room. Within two minutes of calling the front desk, the staff came over with a spare card to open the door and handed me a cup of warm barley tea.
On the day of check-out, I stood by the window and took one last glance at the dusk of Olympic Sports. Suddenly, I understood why many business travelers who come to Beijing for long-term stays consider this place as their first choice. North Star Huiyuan Apartment Hotel (VIP building), Beijing does not have luxurious decorations, but quietly maximizes the core experience of accommodation, allowing you to have a relaxed and homely feeling of your own even during business trips. Next time I come to Beijing, I will definitely return here.Show more

  • Beijing Olympic Sports Travel Notes, Caught All the Pain Points of Long term Travel

This time I came to the Beijing Olympic Sports Area to follow up on a one week project, and I directly set my sights on North Star Huiyuan Apartment Hotel (VIP building), Beijing. As a business person who travels to the northern area all year round, I have long heard of its reputation in the industry. After staying for a full seven days, I truly felt how this old hotel apartment has arranged all the detailed needs of long-term business trips in a timely manner.
The most intuitive and worry free way starts with transportation, taking the North Fourth Ring Road directly from the Capital Airport to the hotel. The entire 30 minute journey is almost without traffic jams, and there is no need to spend time in the traffic flow in the city center. The hotel is located in the core business circle of Beichen, with a 10 minute walk to most of the surrounding industrial parks and commercial buildings. Every morning, I walk to the connected project building, which only takes 8 minutes, completely bidding farewell to the nightmare of being stuck on the Olympian Bridge during rush hour on the North Fifth Ring Road. The guest exclusive super large parking lot is not only free, but also equipped with multiple new energy charging stations. As someone who drove a tram from another city, I filled up the electricity as soon as I parked the car, so I don't have to search for charging stations everywhere in unfamiliar cities.
When checking in, the business butler learned that I needed to frequently hold cross-border video conferences and directly helped me upgrade to an executive suite with a separate reception area. The 90 square meter space doesn't feel cramped at all, and the solid wood office area by the window is paired with ergonomic chairs that provide a strong sense of support. I spent three nights in the room revising the project proposal, and even after sitting for four or five hours, my waist wouldn't feel sore. The gigabit WiFi signal in the whole house is full, and the online synchronization across time zones for 3 hours will have zero lag throughout the process. For me, who needs to frequently connect with overseas headquarters, this is more important than any luxurious decoration. The open kitchen in the room is equipped with an induction cooker, a double door refrigerator and basic kitchenware, so we don't need to eat takeout. We work overtime at night and come back late at night to cook a bowl of hot Noodles in soup, which instantly dispels most of our fatigue.
The hotel's business facilities fully meet all core needs: a 24-hour business center that can quickly print and bind bidding documents even at 1am, without having to search for printing shops on the streets late at night. I rented a small conference room here to hold a project docking meeting for 20 people. The conference team arranged all the projections, speakers, and conference nameplates one day in advance, and even confirmed the tea preferences of several colleagues from other places with me one by one. There were no mistakes throughout the whole process. The concierge department can also help connect with high-end business banquet resources in the surrounding area, saving me a lot of valuable time by not having to make individual phone reservations myself.
During the break after work, there are exclusive moments of relaxation hidden here: a 10 minute walk to the Olympic Park, a half-hour walk around the Bird's Nest early after work, enjoying the evening breeze and the illuminated Olympic sports night view, all the tension of the whole day has dissipated. The hotel has a wide range of buffet breakfast, ranging from Cantonese Dim sum to Beijing flavor. After eating, you can go to see customers in high spirits. You don't have to go around to find a breakfast shop.
After a week of project completion, I no longer have the tired look on my face after a long business trip, but can return with a refreshing state. As a well-established hotel apartment in the Olympic Sports Area that has been deeply cultivated for many years, North Star Huiyuan Apartment Hotel (VIP building), Beijing does not have flashy internet celebrity gimmicks, and every detail is dedicated to serving long-term business travel. Next time I come to Beijing Olympic Sports to follow up on the project, this will definitely be my only fixed foothold.Show more
